The MCA recognised Superyacht certificate courses which are valid worldwide are being conducted by 29 years of experience. These certifications will allow you to work in different positions, including all kinds of motorboats or sailboats, with practical trainings besides the theorical ones, thus it will lead you to a very important turning point and make you jump in your career. These certificates will give you the chance to work on all boats all over the world.
Those who want to work professionally and earn a living in the yachting industry attend IYT Professional Certificate training programs recognized by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA). While IYT professional certificates are designed for use in Red Ensign countries affiliated with the United Kingdom, they are internationally recognized and accepted certificates.
The professional certificate training programs offered at our school are as follows:
- Master of Yachts 200gt Unlimited (Captain on all seas including oceans, for vessels up to 200gt)
- Master of Yachts 200gt Limited (Captain for vessels up to 200gt; Motor, Sail, or Motor & Sail endorsements available)
- Master of Yachts Coastal (Captain for vessels up to 24m; Motor, Sail, or Motor & Sail endorsements available)
- Superyacht Deck Crew (Crew on yachts up to 3,000gt)
- Small Powerboat and Ribmaster (Captain’s license for vessels up to 15m with no engine power restriction, for professional crew who are compensated for their work)
- Personal Watercraft (License for operating personal watercraft such as jet skis)
The Unlimited, Limited, Coastal, and Ribmaster licenses are MCA-recognized professional commercial certificates.
